    How to download Tixeo Communication Client V18?

    Simple download in 3 ways:

    1. From your invitation: Click on the “Join the meeting” link in the email you received
    2. From the website: Go to https://cloud.tixeo.com → Downloads section
    3. From mobile stores: Search for “Tixeo” on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

    Installation: Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions. Installation only takes a few minutes.

    Important – Server compatibility:

    • Only V18-compatible servers will be accessible with the V18 client
    • If you connect to a server using an earlier version, an automatic backward compatibility mechanism will calibrate Tixeo to the target server version
    • No action is required on your part, the adjustment is automatic

    Tixeo V18 introduces several major enhancements designed to improve user experience and strengthen secure collaboration.

    Understanding the new main scene in Tixeo V18

    Tixeo V18 introduces a new main scene designed to centralize key actions and improve daily navigation.

    This main scene is built around an interactive timeline that provides quick access to recent activities.

    From the main scene, you can:

    • Access your recent and upcoming meetings
    • Quickly open your Workspaces
    • View your latest conversations
    • Start audio or video calls
    • Use shortcuts to key features

    The timeline offers a clear and dynamic chronological view, making it easy to resume recent or ongoing activities without navigating through multiple menus.

    This new layout improves:

    • action visibility
    • workflow continuity

    First Invitation to a Tixeo Video Conference

    For your first experience with Tixeo, we recommend following these steps:

    1. In the invitation email you received, click on the “Join the meeting” link.
      • You will be redirected to a web page in your browser.
    2. Click “Download” to get the Tixeo application.
      • Important: do not click “Open Tixeo” if the application is not yet installed.
      • If the “Browser” option is available, you can use it to join the meeting without installing the application.
    3. Install the downloaded file.
    4. Follow the account creation procedure to complete your registration.

    Selecting a Tixeo Server

    Tixeo offers different environments, some for private and dedicated use, and others via the Tixeo Cloud.

    If the application asks you to select a server, follow these steps:

    1. Copy the invitation link received by email (the “Join the meeting” button link).
    2. Open the TixeoCommunicationClient application.
    3. Select “Private Server”.
    4. Paste only the beginning of the link, i.e., everything before /meet/.

    Example:
    If the meeting link is:
    https://cloud.tixeo.com/meet/meeting/join?umi=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    Paste in the application:
    https://cloud.tixeo.com/

    How to navigate the Tixeo V18 interface?

    The Tixeo V18 interface has been completely redesigned. It consists of three main areas.

    The left sidebar brings together all sections of the application:

    • Activity — your notifications and recent activity
    • Contacts — your contact list and favorites
    • Meetings — your upcoming and past meetings
    • Messages — your private conversations
    • Workspaces — your team collaboration spaces
    • Profile — your personal information and password
    • Settings — application settings
    • Logout — to sign out

    The central panel displays a summary of your activity: connected server information, quick action buttons (schedule a meeting, video call, audio call), your favorite contacts, and your frequent Workspaces.

    The Events section shows your events timeline (past, in-progress, and upcoming meetings).

    Click on any section in the left menu to navigate directly to it.

    How to use the Events timeline?

    The Events timeline is the panel displayed on the right side of the main screen. It lets you see all your meetings at a glance, sorted into three categories:

    • Missed — meetings you have missed
    • In progress — meetings currently taking place
    • Upcoming — your next scheduled meetings

    Each category can be expanded or collapsed by clicking its title.

    To join a meeting in progress, click the Join button (green) shown on the meeting card in the “In progress” section.

    To edit or delete an upcoming meeting, use the ✏️ (pencil) and 🗑️ (trash) icons visible on each meeting card in the “Upcoming” section.

    How to use the Activity panel?

    The Activity panel (bell icon in the left menu) centralizes all your recent notifications. It keeps you informed in real time about what is happening in your Tixeo environment.

    You will find notifications such as:

    • Meeting started — a meeting you organized has just begun
    • Missed meeting — you did not join a scheduled meeting
    • Contact request accepted — a contact has accepted your invitation
    • New message — you have received a message from a contact

    Each notification displays the date, time, and name of the person involved.

    Available actions depending on the notification type:

    • View details — shows the meeting details
    • Join — joins an ongoing meeting directly from the notification
    • Reply — opens the message menu directly

    Unread notifications are indicated by an orange dot on the Activity icon in the menu.

    How to view my messages list?

    To access all your private conversations, click on Messages in the left sidebar.

    The Messages page displays the list of all your conversations with your contacts, in chronological order (most recent first). Each row shows the contact’s name and a preview of the last message exchanged.

    Click on a conversation to open it and read the full exchange.

    Tip: You can also access a contact’s conversation directly from their contact card (section “Contacts” > contact details > “Send a message”).

    How to access frequent Workspaces and favorite contacts from the home screen?

    The central panel of the Tixeo V18 interface gives you quick access to your most-used items, without having to navigate to dedicated sections.

    Favorite contacts

    The Favorite contacts area displays the contacts you have marked as favourites in the Contacts menu (orange star icon).

    To take action, hover over a contact’s avatar: icons appear to start an audio call, a video call, or a meeting directly.

    To add a new favourite from this area, click the star icon next to a contact in the Contacts section — a filled star (orange) indicates the contact is already in your favourites.

    Frequent workspaces

    The Frequent workspaces area displays your most recently used workspaces. Click on a Workspace icon to access it directly.

    These shortcuts allow you to act in just a few clicks, without having to search through your full contact or Workspace lists.
